First, let's talk about that word, "director."

• I do not give out instructions.
• I do not hand out directions for you to follow to a satisfying spiritual life.
• I do not prescribe a set of steps that will change your life.

Think of the words direction and directions and how maps help us navigate the space between one place and another.

I've assembled my chosen wellness modalities and spiritual practices (Focusing, SoulCollage®, aromatherapy, the Labyrinth, Reiki, journaling, and art journaling) in what I call my Soul-Tending Apothecary.

As a Spiritual Director, I listen deeply.

I listen to what you're saying, and I also listen for what you're not saying, because sometimes, the words aren't there yet.

I bring in the modalities and practices from the Apothecary that will best support you and deepen your experience.

And I'm here to listen deeply and to be your companion as you navigate the twists and turns of your spiritual journey.

I do not. And I'm not affiliated with a church.

Whether you are or whether you are not, has no bearing on our work together.

I believe the potential that your spiritual journey holds is in your curiosity. It lies in your openness to new discoveries, to new revelations and to making new connections.

It's embedded in your ability to ask deep questions and then to open your heart to possibilities. 

People initially come to work with me for things such as feeling spiritually lost or numb, feeling like they don't belong, working through past religious or spiritual trauma, and feeling like they've outgrown their church home.

There are two common threads at the center of my clients' concerns: connection and relationships.

So many of us struggle with feeling disconnected:

• We feel disconnected from our family and friends.
• We feel disconnected from our communities.
• We feel disconnected from our churches.
• We feel disconnected from nature.
• We feel disconnected from our Creator.
• And we feel disconnected from ourselves.

And when we feel disconnected, our relationships suffer.

My work is centered on my personal  Foundational Touchstone I dwell in the Oneness and the Oneness dwells in me. 

It's all about connection and relationships.

To say it differently, I believe that we are all part of a Divine Creation and that a spark of that Divinity lives in each of us.

I am not.

I am a big proponent of having both a therapist and a Spiritual Director. I have both and the work I do with each is amplified by the work I do with both.
